There have been thirty lighthouses on Washington’s coasts during its history. The first light, Cape Disappointment Lighthouse, was lit in 1856. It is still active to this day. Eighteen lighthouses are currently active along the coasts of Washington. This book includes all thirty lighthouses, whether they are still being used or not.
As a native of the Pacific Northwest and lover of all things beachy, it is my pleasure to present these intricate, one-of-a-kind pieces of art. All my illustrations are unique. You won’t find them in any other coloring books.
Whimsy, beauty, and attention to detail, while also leaving room for the colorist’s imagination, are the aspirations of any good coloring book. I think you’ll find that and so much more in this lovely collection of art!

Great book. Really appreciate the history of the individual lighthouses as well.
These coloring books have actually 2 sets of each lighthouse. One with decorative border and one without. Each one has a page adjacent to the coloring page that includes the history of each lighthouse. They are also listed in alphabetical order. I’ll be using colored pencils for my drawings since it gives them a softened look, like watercolors. Haven’t started coloring yet, but definitely anxious to get started. Very nicely put together!
